embership Classifications 2024

An applicant for an Individual Class A, Family A/A, or Family A/B membership must be a shareholder. Applicants for a Junior (ages 13-25), Young Adult (ages 26-40) or Social membership are not required to be a shareholder.

Family Class A/A: (Age 41+) Family Class A/A members pay annual dues and assessments and enjoys full course privileges extending to weekend and holiday mornings. A Class A/A membership includes two A memberships and children 17 years old and under. Children 6 and older and accompanied by an adult may play any time on Monday thru Friday and after 12:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. In July and August, Friday tee times are restricted for children between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Children 17 years old and under must be deemed qualified by the Club professional to play without adult supervision. Children in a Family A/A membership, upon reaching 18 years of age, may apply for a Junior membership, which would take effect the following year. A yearly restaurant minimum applies to Family Class A/A memberships and may be used April thru Mid -November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season.

Family Class A/B: (Age 41+) Family Class A/B members pay annual dues and assessments. A Family A/B membership includes one Class A, one Class B membership and children 17 years old and under. The playing privileges will be the same as Individual Class A and Individual Class B members. Children 6 and older and accompanied by an adult may play any time on Monday through Friday and after 12:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. In July and August, Friday tees times are restricted for children between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Children 17 years old and under must be deemed qualified by the Club professional to play without adult supervision. Children in a Family A/B membership, upon reaching 18 years of age, may apply for a Junior membership, which would take effect the following year. In a family membership, the distribution of the A and B membership categories must be declared at the beginning of the membership. This arrangement is considered permanent unless a request for change is made in writing and approved by the Board of Governors. . A yearly restaurant minimum applies to Family A/B memberships and may be used April thru Mid - November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season.

Individual Class A: (Age 41+) An Individual Class A member pays annual dues, assessments, and enjoys full course privileges extending to weekend and holiday mornings. Children 12 and under may play with their A member parent at no cost any time on Monday through Friday and after 12:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. In July and August, Friday tee times for children are restricted between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. A yearly restaurant minimum applies to Individual Class A memberships and may be used April thru Mid - November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season.

Individual Class B: (Age 41+) No new Individual Class B memberships accepted after 2019
An Individual Class B member pays annual dues and assessments and enjoys full weekday course privileges. On weekends and holidays, Individual B members may not tee off until after the last crossover of scheduled Class A play or 11:30 am, whichever is later. In July and August, Friday tees times are restricted between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Children 12 and under may play with their B member parent at no cost any time on Monday through Friday and after 12:00 pm Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. In July and August, Friday tees times are restricted for children between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. A yearly restaurant minimum applies to Individual Class B memberships and may be used April thru Mid - November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season.

Young Adult: (Ages 26-40) Individuals between the ages of 26 and 40 may apply for a Young Adult membership without acquiring stock. A Young Adult member pays annual dues, assessments, and enjoys full course privileges extending to weekend and holiday mornings. Initiation fees begin at age 30 and will be paid in equal installments up until age 35. Any young Adult that is age 36 or older will have the number of years to age 40 to pay the initiation in equal payments. A discount and the maximum amount of discount, which is set by the Board of Governors each year, will be applied to the initiation fee for each year the member was a Junior up to age 26. To continue as an Individual Class A member, they must obtain a share of stock by December 31st of the year they turn age 40. A yearly restaurant minimum applies to Young Adult memberships and may be used April thru Mid - November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season. A member reaching age 41 during the membership year continues to have membership privileges to the year’s end. 
 
Active-Duty Military Members: Individuals in the Military who are on active duty may apply for a Military membership without acquiring stock. Initiation fees for this membership class would be waived A Military member pays annual dues, assessments, and enjoys full course privileges extending to weekend and holiday mornings. Since Military members are stationed in the area according to the needs of their respective military branches, the annual dues are for a 12-month period rather than for a calendar year. For example, a Military member who is assigned to duty in the month of September of any year would be eligible to join for a 12-month period, until September of the following year, and would be charged dues set by the Board of Governors each year. Military members would also be liable for any assessments, as well as the food minimum required by their category. This membership category is restricted to no more than ten (10) individuals at any point in time. This policy also applies to the Military member’s spouse.

Junior: (Ages 13 -25) A Junior member pays an annual fee and is entitles to play or use the practice range any time on Monday through Friday and after 12:00 pm on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. In July and August, Friday tees times are restricted for Juniors between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Junior members under 18 years of age must be deemed qualified by the Club Professional to play without adult supervision. Children under the age of 12 years, who are deemed qualified by the Club Professional, may choose to obtain a Junior membership. Junior members must accompany their guests and are required to follow the guest policy of 2 appearances a month for each guest. A member reaching age 26 during the membership year continues to have membership privileges to the year’s end. Junior members must reapply each year

Social or Social with Practice Greens and Range: A Social member pays an annual fee and a yearly restaurant minimum which may be used April thru Mid - November of each year. Any unspent minimum will revert to the club at the end of the dining season. The Social member is entitled to clubhouse privileges. There are no golfing privileges under the Social membership but may play as a guest of a member up to 2 times (appearances) per month. A Social member may also pay an additional fee for unlimited use of the practice range and putting green. Any golfing member who chooses to move to a Social membership is resigning their golfing membership. All Social members in good standing will be allowed to come back to their previous membership category, A or B if there is a spot available within the 130 B cap and not have to pay an initiation fee. Any member who joined after 2019 would come back to an A membership.

Honorary Social: An Honorary Social member pays no annual fee or assessments and is entitled to clubhouse privileges and may play two rounds of golf per month at a nominal rate per round established annually by the Board. This membership category does not include guest privileges. The Honorary Social membership is for members who have reached the age of 70 years old and have at least 30 years of membership. This membership was intended for those who cannot maintain a membership due to illness or financial reasons.

Honorary Membership: The award of Honorary membership is extraordinary and is a reward for long term members who have made exceptional contributions to the club. To be considered for this honor, a member must be 70 years of age and have at least 30 years of membership. Other considerations such as board membership, significant activities, involvement, and contributions to the well-being of the Club will be considered. A written nomination by a current member of Board should be presented to the full Board of Governors. At this point, the Board can vote to move the nomination for a formal vote at the next Board meeting. If the nomination is approved for a formal vote at the Board meeting, a secret ballot will be performed, with current Board members and three most recent past presidents’ eligible to vote. Twelve affirmative votes are required for approval. Proxy votes will be accepted. An Honorary member pays no dues but is responsible for the payment of assessments. The Honorary member is entitled to full Club privileges, and is responsible for restaurant minimums, cart fees, and other personal related course fees.

Leave of Absence: (LOA) Members desiring LOA designation must submit their request in writing to the board by December 15th. Members on LOA pay a fee established by the Board and continue to be responsible for assessments. Members on LOA have clubhouse privileges, but do not have playing privileges unless participating in an outside sponsored event. A member on LOA may use the practice areas and practice putting green. All LOA’s are at the discretion of the Board.

Resignation: Resignation of membership is made in writing to the President or Secretary. Resignation made after the January 15th does not relieve the resigning member from the obligation to pay annual dues and assessments. Such obligation is at the discretion of the Board.
